The Sharks' winning streak is over...

... but that's what happens when you play like that. You play like that... and you lose.

Restless. The Sharks were a bit restless. The fans were restless. There was a lot of action during the first period... even though it was a scoreless first period. The second period was scoreless as well. The Predators were the first ones to score: a wrist shot by Sergei Kostitsyn (assisted by Wilson) at 00:59 in the third period. The Sharks tied the game at 13:39; a power play goal (backhand) by Martin Havlat (assisted: by Gomez). Yet again, the Sharks scored late in the game.

The game went into OT... then it went into a shootout (third-straight shootout, by the way). Handzus, Clowe, and Pavelski shot for the Sharks... all three of them were denied goals. Legwand and Smith shot for the Predators... Smith scored and won it for the Preds.

So yeah, the Sharks' winning streak is over, however, they still got a point.
7-0-1 (15 points)

The Sharks are getting better on the PK... so they get praise for that! Also, nods to the defensemen... they did great tonight, except for the one goal that got past Niemi.

Ya can't win 'em all.

The new winning streak will start on Monday ;)

Go Sharks, Go!!
